The Chamber offers a variety of networking opportunities ranging from our monthly breakfast meeting, Issues & Eggs to luncheons including, Women in Business to after hours mixers. Each and every event provides a unique opportunity for your business to generate potential client needs.
- Referral Service
The Chamber receives hundreds of inquiries every month from individuals and businesses looking for various products and services in the Haywood County area. We refer only Chamber members in good standing, using our rotating online business directory system.
- Increased Visibility
Chamber members are listed alphabetically by business category in both our online and printed directory. New members are also announced in “The Weekly” newsletter and the quarterly “Vantage Point” newsletter. The Chamber will also aid new members in planning a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony complete with press release and photo distribution to Chamber media contacts following the event.
- Access to Community Leaders and Elected Officials
The Chamber offers a variety of events throughout the year that will put you face–to–face with elected officials and leaders in the community. Events include the Elected Officials Reception, Legislative Visit to Raleigh and (2) Issues & Eggs breakfasts featuring the candidates from School Board to our Representatives in Washington, DC.

- Marketing Opportunities
The Chamber has a variety of advertising opportunities that are exclusive to members of the Haywood County Chamber of Commerce. In addition to advertising, the chamber mailing list is also available for purchase.
- Member Advocacy
The Haywood County Chamber of Commerce serves as an advocate for issues pertaining to Haywood County businesses, community stakeholders and our membership. The Chamber’s Governmental Relations Committee continues to establish and enhance relationships with governmental officials, provide information and obtain input from our membership on governmental issues relevant to them. Events including our Elected Officials Reception, Legislative Trip to Raleigh and Candidates Forums provide our membership with the opportunity to network with elected officials and to have their voice heard. Each year the Governmental Relations Committee develops a Legislative and Public Policy Agenda that represents the Chamber’s commitment to maintain and grow a strong business climate and exceptional quality of life for Haywood County.
- Seminars & Workshops
The Chamber provides monthly and quarterly seminars featuring topics that are essential to the operation of your business. Seminars including, Issues & Eggs, Women in Business, and more provide our membership with valuable, up to date information and skills development.
- Members-Only Services
The Chamber is always happy to celebrate new businesses, expansions, new ownerships, etc. We offer members assistance in planning, marketing, and follow up press releases for their ribbon cutting events. The chamber also offers a members only discount program that will allow you to offer visitors and locals alike an excellent opportunity to visit your business.
