MISSION
The Education Committee will facilitate and
encourage business involvement and support by
promoting partnerships and innovative programs that
positively influence the Haywood County School
System
Solicit scholarship donations and organize the
annual Partners in Education Scholarship Program.
Develop and implement a Teacher Incentive Program to
enhance recruiting efforts of qualified and new
teachers to Haywood County
Recognize area teachers with a Teacher of the Month
presentation, coordinating with the Haywood County
School System and Haywood Educational Foundation.
Host a Principal’s Luncheon
Investigate the possibility of hosting a New Teacher
Reception beginning August 2006
Invite local leaders as guest speakers to inform the
membership of educational issues and concerns
