Visitor Information Center
The Greater Haywood County Chamber of Commerce Visitor’s
Center provides information on the area to visitors
and people within our community. Volunteers are
needed to assist people with directions and general
information.
Business and Community Development Committee
This committee develops and promotes businesses that
are Greater Haywood County Chamber of Commerce members. The
committee meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at
the Regional High Technology Center.

Education Committee
The Education Committee partners with the Haywood
County Businesses to encourage business involvement
and the development of innovative programs that
positively influence the Haywood County School
System. Committee members meet on the 3rd Monday
each month at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

Governmental Affairs Committee
The Governmental Affairs Committee established
positive relations with elected governmental
officials. They also provide recommendation on
advocacy positions and communicated to chamber’s
viewpoint. The Committee meets as needed.

Tourism and Website Committee
The Tourism and Development Committee promotes
Haywood County as a quality tourist destination. In
addition, this committee monitors the Chamber
Website for improvements and enhancements.

Ambassadors Committee
The Chamber Ambassadors serves as a connection with
the new and existing members. Ambassadors attend a
monthly meeting along with ribbon cuttings, grand
openings, ground breakings and other chamber events.
The Ambassadors meet on the 3rd Thursday of each
month.
Goals of the Ambassador program are: to actively
encourage participation by its members, build member
commitment, increase the membership base and
represent the Chamber at functions.
