Business Start-Up Competition Awards Luncheon

Wednesday, May 28, 2008 the chamber will host its 2nd Annual Business Start-Up Competition Luncheon to honor this year's recipient of the $10,000 business plan award. We are pleased to announce that US Senator Richard Burr will be our guest speaker on this occasion.
In the Senate, Burr serves as
ranking member of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee where he works
to improve the quality of health care and service veterans receive. Burr
also sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee; the Health, Education,
Labor, and Pensions Committee; the Energy and Natural Resources
Committee; and the Indian Affairs Committee.
The
luncheon is from 12:30-2:00 pm at the Maggie Valley Club.
Tickets are $20 and advance purchase is required.
